Our company is located in the heart of Los Angeles, the capital of world cinema.

 

At the start, we’re offering to work with you on a TFP (Time For Print) basis – you’ll get experience and some cool stuff for your portfolio. As we go further with the projects, we’ll give you the chance to earn up to 50% of the income from the project, as a reward for all your hard work.

Key skills:

 

  • good hand motor skills. During filming, the cameraman must change the lenses, turn on the necessary modes on the equipment and perform other work that requires advanced motor skills
  • endurance. The filming process can take a long time and often take place in difficult weather conditions. 
  • a developed eye. The specialist must choose the optimal points for filming, calculate the distance to the actors and objects
  • communication skills. The operator must be able to convey his thoughts to other team members, prove his point of view to the director or producer
  • skills of working with professional equipment. First of all, with a movie camera, video editing equipment, lighting devices
  • knowledge of the relevant software. The cinematographer should know the programs Corel DRAW, Adobe Premiere, VSDC, DaVinci Resolve and others
  • artistic taste, sense of style, composition and color. This helps the operator to find his handwriting in creating the overall characteristic composition of the film
  • creative thinking. The cinematographer helps to express the ideas of the screenwriter and director, and often finds a creative solution to a particular scene himself and achieves its maximum expressiveness

Duties:

 

  • shooting frames: the choice of camera angles and the composition of frames to convey the intended image and mood of the scene
  • working with the camera: controlling the camera, adjusting its parameters to achieve optimal image quality
  • lighting: control the lighting of the stage using various light sources to create the desired effects and atmosphere
  • collaboration with the director: understanding his vision and conveying it on the screen
  • working with other crew members: interacting with other professionals on set
  • installation solution: offer an installation solution to achieve the desired effect in the film
  • experimentation and creativity: conducting experiments with camera, light and composition to create unusual and unique effects.
